Big Changes To The Big One
As you may already be aware, big changes to EuroMillions are afoot. Here’s what’s happening and how it’s going to benefit everyone in LoveMyLotto:
The game’s operators are introducing an additional weekly draw, and with it — for the UK only — an additional Millionaire Raffle. This is great news because the multiple-rollovers we love will develop twice as quickly.

But there’s more! The operators are also changing the format of EuroMillions — on both Tuesday and Friday — by adding TWO extra Lucky Star Numbers. Players will choose two from 1 to 11 instead of 1 to 9. Again, that’s good for us because it bumps up the chances of a rollover!
The third bit of good news is, there’s a new, lower prize category being introduced. You win something if you match just TWO numbers instead of the current three.
How will all these exciting developments affect LoveMyLotto syndicates? Well, we’re just dividing the number of current EuroMillions entries equally between Tuesday and Friday games. So for example, if you’re playing now in a Gold syndicate with 6 entries currently, you’ll have 3 on Tuesday and 3 on Friday.
However, because Silver currently has three entries, we’ve had to assign it an extra entry and give Tuesday and Friday two a-piece… and, reluctantly, up the price to £20 a month. Although this will apply only to new Silver members joining after the changes come into effect.
So to sum up the benefits you get with the twice-a-week EuroMillions as an existing member:
• Bronze players get an extra draw day
• Silver players get 2 extra entries every week for no extra cost
• Everyone gets 2 extra draws a week (counting the Millionaire Raffle)
• Everyone plays for an extra £12m jackpot fund at least, every week
• Everyone plays at no extra cost
The changes come into effect on Tuesday 17th May.
